Quartz Glass 96 Well Plate/Custom Elisa Sigma Microplate

This plate consists of 12 individual strips (each with 8 wells) that can be broken apart. It allows users to process only the required number of samples, making it flexible and economical for assays with variable throughput.

This plate features wells that are permanently fixed into the frame using adhesive. Made from JGS1 quartz material, it offers good ultraviolet light transmission, making it suitable for basic spectrophotometric applications.

Similar in construction to the JGS1 version, this plate uses JGS2 quartz. It is designed to withstand higher thermal shock and has better resistance to chemical corrosion, ideal for harsher experimental conditions.

This plate is manufactured as a single, solid piece from JGS1 quartz without any gluing. The seamless construction ensures no sample leakage and provides excellent optical clarity for high-precision UV measurements.

Crafted entirely from JGS2 quartz, this one-piece design offers maximum durability and chemical resistance. It is the preferred choice for experiments involving aggressive solvents or requiring repeated sterilization.

(Note: JGS1 and JGS2 are Chinese standard designations for synthetic quartz glass, equivalent to types used for UV spectroscopy and high-temperature applications.)

It has an extremely low coefficient of thermal expansion (~5.5 x 10⁻⁷/K), granting exceptional resistance to thermal shock. Its softening point is above 1650°C, and it can be used continuously at 1100°C. Quartz glass is highly transparent across a broad spectrum, from deep ultraviolet (UV) to near-infrared (IR). It possesses high dielectric strength and excellent electrical insulation properties even at elevated temperatures.

The material is chemically inert to most substances. It has outstanding resistance to weathering and demonstrates low reactivity with acids (except hydrofluoric and hot phosphoric acid) and molten metals. Its high purity results in minimal contamination in sensitive processes. However, it is susceptible to devitrification (crystallization) at prolonged high temperatures, which can degrade its thermal and optical performance.
